sooo... tips against african civs?

the realization hit me today when i was playing a game that like... i dont really know how to approach games against the african civs. its not that im bad at the game, i dont need game advice, i just... dont know what the african civs specialize in

for example, with dutch, you can go into the game with the mindset that theres a good likelyhood it'll be a turtle boom and that you'll be fighting an army of skirms and goons

with japan, you can be reasonably sure that they will probably go yumi or ashigaru, with some potential naginata sprinkled in, and flaming arrows later, and that an all-in rush is unlikely

with brits, you know they either likely to either house boom, or rush with musks/longbos, and THEN house boom, and you know that late game the army comp will probably be muketeers and artillery, or if they are a spicy player, life guard hussar

but the african civs... i dont know enough about. i know etheopia has a musketeer equivilent and a weird goon/currasier combo unit and the sebastaple, and i know housa has some neat cav and archers, and i know both civs can go with dessert warriars, but what i dont know is:

what is the standard go-to army comp from each civ that i might be able to expect for both early game and late game?

what kind of units should i expect from a rush or fast fortress from either of these civs?

how do i counter dessert warriars? im aware their properties change with their stances like nazam fusseliers, but i dont know what tags whey have or what their resistances are

and FOR FUCK SAKE HOW DO I COUNTER A HAUSA PLAYER WHO STICKS 10 GRIOTS AT THE FRONT OF HIS ARMY???

i find myself going into a game with hausa and etheopia and not knowing what the fuck i should expect from them strategy-wise, whether im likely to get rushed or not, and i usually just take a wild swing with my strategy, and then end up losing cause it wasnt the right call

so if yall could help out that would be wonderful
