Lol the Battleship Posted: 16 Mar 2022 07:09 PM PDT I'm really more of a casual comp stomper than anything else, so no idea regarding it's competitive balance or viability, but discovering the Battleship was a machine gun had me laughing my ass off. Can't Alt Attack Move with New Flare/Ping System Posted: 16 Mar 2022 05:19 PM PDT After the new patch, my left alt key has turned into a ping and I tried playing around with hotkeys to get my old attack move back (alt right-click) but it hasn't worked. RIP African civs - broken by patch Posted: 16 Mar 2022 02:39 AM PDT Any other hausa and ethiopia players out there? The new patch brought a bug on livestock market exchange rates and both civs are suddenly unplayable in ranked 1v1. I'm happy the devs are working on the game, but this is a huge issue that needs to be addressed asap. They said they're aware of it but i fear i won't be able to play my main in 1v1 for a month. I was learning Ethiopia as well which is also going to be paused for a while. I know hausa needs some balance changes, but making them competitively unplayable is too much. Other civs get 200 or even 300 wood crates at start. Hausa now don't even have enough for a house... If they really want this however, they need to give 100 extra food on the starting cow so the age up time is better. The point isn't actually so much that you need the wood age 1. The point is that you need the wood age 1 because you can't possibly do a 10/10 without completely screwing your economy because hausa just can't hit age up before like 3:30 which is super late I would happily accept the change if the age up time is fixed. Right now hausa age at 4:30, if they get a big food treasure and micro their villagers perfectly. On average it's closer to 5 minutes. That's insanely late. A hard rush pushes over hausa any time because there's no way to stop it when it takes literally 5:40 to get your first units out, at best. I don't think devs will read this, but if they do i hope they consider being a bit more careful with knowingly releasing bugged stuff that completely breaks two civs. It's super frustrating. submitted by /u/_McCleves [link] [comments]

Some noob torp questions Posted: 16 Mar 2022 06:03 AM PDT Hey, so I wanted to pick up the Sweden civilisation. Had a few enquiries wrt the torps. Have torps lost the ability to shoot at animals now? Wasn't able to recreate the same. How many different resources can a torp gather at any given point in time? Will their gather rates be affected accordingly.
